Leading events technology provider GlobalSign.in today unveiled its new offering: Wylcome, a visitor management web app with a free temperature check-in tool.
Tailor-made for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore, this powerful but affordable app addresses the pressing need for businesses to secure their workplaces and ensure compliance in light of COVID-19. As SMEs form the backbone of Singapore’s economy, making up 99% of enterprises in Singapore, it is imperative that they are prepared to manage the evolving COVID-19 situation.
Wylcome enables business administrators to track employees and visitors across all their offices in real-time from a centralized admin console. Wylcome’s features include: digital health declaration forms; a temperature check-in tool that tracks visitors, on-site staff, and remote employees; automatic geotagging of checked-in temperatures to facilitate the tracking of remote employees; and, automated notifications should the recorded temperature rise above safe standards.
The web app works with GovTech’s National Digital Identity (NDI) APIs to ensure the accuracy of the identity of visitors by verifying their basic personal details through the SingPass Mobile app.
“In this trying time for Singapore, we were looking for a solution that would work for SMEs and startups that do not have the benefit of a reception in their office or a general reception desk. We developed Wylcome as a simple and easy-to-use tool that is affordable and provides a way for companies in Singapore to ensure the safety of their staff and do their part to manage the outbreak of COVID-19. ” said Veemal Gungadin, founder & CEO of GlobalSign.in.
Easing the implementation of Business Continuity Plans for SMEs
In response to the COVID-19 situation, the Singapore government has emphasized the importance of implementing Business Continuity Plans (BCPs). Enterprise Singapore published a guide outlining the measures businesses should adopt to ensure minimise disruptions to their operations and ensuring the viability of their businesses throughout the virus outbreak. However, the implementation of such plans may be taxing for SMEs and startups lacking in resources and capital.
Wylcome’s features were developed by the challenges these businesses face in mind. It is targeted at businesses without a centralized concierge, who may have trouble keeping track of the comings-and-goings of their visitors and employees, and may not have the manpower to have dedicated staff for checking on the status and whereabouts of employees.
Its integration with the NDI APIs ensures that the visitor information it records is accurate and validated. The fully-digitalised health declaration forms reduce cumbersome paperwork while capturing visitors’ health status quickly and securely, adhering to COVID-19 best practices. With automated notifications for unwell visitors, business administrators have the peace of mind that they will be notified of any issues, and do not have to constantly monitor visitor arrivals. The automatic geotagging for its temperature check-in tool removes the need for administrators to manually check on the whereabouts of remote staff members. And, the centralized admin console facilitates an easy retrieval of data, should contact tracing be necessary.
Veemal added, “Our experience, existing tech stack and knowledge with managing large scale events put us in an ideal position to understand and find a solution that works for SMEs. We hope that Wylcome will give SMEs and startups in Singapore that simple solution they need and provide at least some peace of mind during this trying time.”
Easy-to-implement and affordable for SMEs, Wylcome’s powerful tools enable SMEs to implement BCPs and safeguard public health in line with government directives, without straining their resources.
